North Korea Uses MW3 Footage In Weird Propaganda Video [UPDATE]

Update

We managed to get our hands on the video in question, so make sure to check it out above and leave your thoughts on it in the comment section below.

Original Story

If you’ve been following news outside Call of Duty in the last few months, then you no doubt heard many stories regarding North Korea make the headlines. The country has been locking horns with many other superpowers over their nuclear ambitions, causing a media frenzy everytime something new transpires.

Well today did bring something new, a bizarre propaganda video posted on North Korea’s Uriminzokkiri YouTube channel, who distribute news and propaganda media for the official government website. The video shows a man envisioning many missiles hitting skyscrapers in New York and causing chaos, thus you may be asking what this has to do with Call of Duty right? Well the footage used is from a cut-scene within 2011 release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, where the Russians attack New York City during an invasion.

Publisher Activision have used the corporate swag and had the video removed by request due to the use of footage from the game, so we’ve nothing to show you guys unfortunately, but hey you get the picture right! You would agree the whole situation is unsettling, on the bright side it doesn’t affect your gaming sessions, so back to the fight soldiers, that’s an order!
