Double XP Rewards With a Bottle of Mountain Dew and a Bag of Doritos
We’re still months removed from the official release of Modern Warfare 3 and there is no denying that once again a Call of Duty game will be breaking all kind of records. PepsiCo, owner or the Mountain Dew and Doritos brand, anticipates the success and has partnered with gaming industry leader Activision on a first-of-its-kind promotion – “Rank Up Your Game with Double XP”.
Brett O’Brien, Mountain Dew’s vice president of marketing, said:
Our fans know that when DEW does something, we go big – and there is no bigger entertainment property than Call of Duty, so we are thrilled to partner with Activision to launch the newest editions of these two iconic brands. Moreover, with this partnership we get to make sure that Mountain Dew fuels both the fans and their Call of Duty gameplay while they play Modern Warfare 3.
Specially marked packages of Mountain Dew and Doritos will feature codes that enables the double XP time on Modern Warfare 3. The promotion also includes a sweepstakes that will give gamers and non-gamers the chance to win prizes every time they redeem codes.
The “Rank Up Your Game with Double XP” promotion starts in October, giving you plenty of time to stock up on bottles of Mountain Dew and bags of Doritos.
