Premium Call of Duty Elite Members to Receive an Extra 30 Days
Call of Duty Elite premium members who feel hard done by the recent launch issues the stat-tracking platform is experiencing may now rejoice. Activision have decided that all premium members will receive an extra 30 days at no extra cost as an apology for the less then desired launch.
As of now Elite is still not at full strength, many gamers are still not able to use all the features the platform offers. The developer’s working around the clock to get Elite back to full fitness have been keeping everyone apprised on what progress they have made. According to statement released on the Call of Duty Elite website, they have fixed the registration and login systems but are still receiving problems from the overwhelming amount of gamers still registering for Elite.
They also stated that they will temporarily limit access to Elite services on both the console applications and website while they build additional capacity and scale, this hopefully increasing the access to greater number of users. Activision released a statement reassuring gamers that all the stats and multiplayer match data for Modern Warfare 3 and Black ops will still be recorded to their Elite account despite the issues.
If you haven’t picked up the premium edition of the platform, founder status eligibility will also be extended to all premium members who subscribe before the end of November.
Are you still thinking about picking up the premium edition of Call of Duty Elite after the launch problems?
