Call of Duty Elite Having Launch Problems
Seems like Call of Duty players are still in the waiting room when it comes to getting their hands on Call of Duty Elite. The stat-tracking platform which launched alongside Modern Warfare 3 on the 8th of November is having some launch issues. This leaving a lot of gamers very angry, more so for the gamers who took money from their pocket for the premium edition of the platform.
“Registration requests for our new live service Call of Duty Elite are exceeding even our most optimistic expectations, which is creating a bottleneck and some players have not been able to register”, Beachhead Studios’ Chacko Sonny stated. “We have already registered hundreds of thousands of players and we are working around the clock to increase our capacity as quickly as possible.”
The Call of Duty Elite twitter page has been keeping everyone up to speed about the situation. Recently tweeting:
In another tweet they stated that the error on login is being caused by the registration load issue and urged people not to change their password. For those who are wondering if their stats made up to this point are safe, everything will be working fine once you access the service, from captured Modern Warfare 3 gameplay data, heatmap data and gun progression data. Let’s just hope they get things up and running quickly before the horde’s of Call of Duty fans start to get Restless.
