Call of Duty Elite Beta Comes to an End
As of noon today pacific time the Call of Duty Elite beta came to an end. The beta, which has been developed by Beachhead Studios, went live on the 14th of July for Xbox 360 owners and 20th of September for PS3 owners, has been closed in anticipation of its intended launch alongside Modern Warfare 3 on November 8th.
The Connect, Compete and Improve sections of the beta have been closed to get them prepared for the official launch.The career section of the beta which was previously closed will be open to the public as of next week so players can finally have access to them all important Black Ops stats. For those who are wondering what will happen to all the progress you made while using the beta before it ended will have no need to worry, all your activity will carry over when the official beta goes live on next month.
A studio representative at Beachhead Studios quoted about how they think the beta went.
“Beachhead Studio would like to thank everyone for their feedback and participation in the beta, as it’s helping to make Call of Duty Elite an even better service.”
