Call of Duty Multiplayer Will Always Be Free
We figured out that Activision won’t be using the Online Pass model for Call of Duty’s multiplayer mode. But recently we’ve heard even better news.
Activision wants to put an end to the Call of Duty multiplayer membership rumors. Activision has officially confirmed this morning that they will never put a cost on the shooter’s online service. Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said:
“The experience you have out of the box, connecting with the online community to play Call of Duty is absolutely integral to the experience and we’ll never charge for that. It’s not going to be something we’ll attempt to monetize; it’s part of the package,”
This is great news for all the Call of Duty fans all around the world planning to play the future games in the Call of Duty franchise.
