Experimental Commenting System

What is a community without the interaction from the community itself? Not much if you ask me.

That’s why I wanted to test a new commenting system. This system makes use if a Facebook plugin and without going into the details too much. It gives you the option to comment using your Facebook (or Yahoo) credentials. No extra logging in is required.

By using this new system, I aim to integrate our community with Facebook more than before. Any comments you leave on our website, can be automatically placed on your Facebook profile if you want to, giving us more exposure and giving your friends more insight about what you are up to. If you don’t want to update your Facebook profile at the same time, just uncheck the “Post on Facebook” box.

This is just a heads up and I want to emphasize that this is just experimental. If the community (read: you) doesn’t like the commenting system I will revert back to the previous system. If however you like the new system, I will keep it the way it is.

So, what do you think of this new system? Any feedback, be it positive or negative is welcome.
