First Impressions From Our Community

How crazy was the live UK Launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops? The launch was just full of amazing stuff.

Having said that, we can now go on to the first impressions of the awesome fans we have over at our Facebook Fan Page. I’ve said the following on our Facebook Fan Page: “The big question is: How is it? Let us know what you think of the game so far!” Obviously I was referring to how their first experience with Call of Duty: Black Ops was.

Here are some of the comments we’ve had from our fans. You guys and girls are the best by the way!:

Tyler Grizzly Tasse says: i love it

Joona Kekkonen says: it sucks. Its totally different. Sniper scope is weird. [then goes on to say] Its good. My comment that i wrote previosly means that there is no more quikscoping. Thats why its sucks. I still love bo.

Josh Carpenter says: disappointing to say the least. oh and horrible lag in my area last night.

Gary W Fann says: i like it so far ive just been playin zombies so far tho .

Jody Rees says: The game is great, plain and simple. Well it is on PC anyway. I heard of guys complaining about lag which I didnt have. Pick a server closer to where you live noobs lol.No quick scope, dedi servers=win win….

Dillon Storey says: The single player is fuckin amazing and i haven’t played enough of the online to give good review.

Bethany Suedkamp says: There was a LOT of dropshotting last night, which was frustrating because Treyarch said they took our dropshotting. Other than that, I really like it. It will just take me awhile to learn the new maps.

Andrew Golightly says: I agree with Beth, there was slot of drop shooting!, it’s a good game, different but good, you have to work hard to get add INS and cammos, dint think il prestige tho, prob just try to get everything unlocked!

Steven Contreras says: Gunna take some time to learn the maps, they feel big and are very detailed, the game play is reminiscent of that of world at war, with a modern warfare touch thrown in, some guns feel a bit overpowered but im sure treyarch will fix that issue, overall its fun and the wager games are addicting, it’ll take some getting used to cause its new, but still a great game.

Adam Wong says: I love it. The campaign is brilliant (I’m only about five levels in and it’s great), the Zombies mode is so fun that it’s just ridiculous, and don’t even get me started on the multiplayer….argh, just so much to do in the game and it’s all so much fun! The game as a whole seems to run a lot, lot better than MW2. The ONLY problem I’ve had with it is that the system for inviting your friends to games (I’ve found this on Xbox at least) is very buggy and often it wouldn’t let us make parties within the game, and when we did manage to it would break up the party when we tried to join a game. Hopefully Treyarch fixes this but other than that I can honestly say I have never been this immediately pleased with a CoD game, but Black Ops is just too damn fun.

Now that you know what the first impressions of our fans are. We would like to know what your first impression was after playing Call of Duty: Black Ops. Let us know by commenting or posting on our forums!
