Call of Duty: Black Ops Minimum System Requirements

Besides the consoles,PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released for the PC at the same time. To get the most of out Call of Duty: Black Ops you need a reasonable PC and lucky for us, the fans, Treyarch made it so that even lesser PCs can run Call of Duty: Black Ops just fine.

Up until now we didn’t know exactly what the minimum system requirements were for Call of Duty: Black Ops, but with a recent update on Direct2Drive this has changed and the minimum requirements are made public.

Note that these are not the official ones from Activision, however they would be pretty legit since Direct2Drive will do better than invent them!

Call of Duty: Black Ops Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows® Vista / XP / 7
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom  X3 8750 or better
  • Memory: 2GB
  • HDD:12GB**
  • Video: Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT / ATI Radeon X1950Pro or better
  • Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible
  • DirectX: 9.0c

Having a look at the list, any PC bought within three years from now should be able to run the game with minimum settings. Keep in mind that these are the minimum requirement and that if you want to run Call of Duty: Black Ops on maximum settings, you will need a better PC.
