Black Ops Standard Edition To Include More Than One Zombie Map?
On October 11th, an article was written on the official Call of Duty website. This article talks in detail about the process of picking the right product to be included with their Prestige Edition [the most expensive edition].
There are talks about the process of picking the product, the similarities between the in game model of the RC-XD remote control car and the real model.
But the part that interested us the most was the part where it says the following:
Let’s not forget everything from the Hardened Edition is included as well. We re-created the Black Ops emblem in the form of a high grade, limited collector’s medal, complete with display case. We’ve made a full outfit for your Xbox Live or PS Home avatars based on Woods, one of the key characters in the game. For our zombie fans we’ve brought over ALL 4 zombie maps from World at War: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese – now playable in the Black Ops engine with fellow Black Ops Prestige and Hardened owners, and in addition to the new zombie maps already included in Black Ops. And of course there’s the game which comes inside of our premium SteelBookTM case, which is a must-have for any Call of Duty collection display.
Notice where it says “new zombie maps”? This hints to the fact that there will be more than just one zombie map included with the standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Further proof comes from an interview with Mark Lamia, Treyarch Studio Head. You can see the full interview he had down below. It is a very interesting interview, but at 2 minutes into the interview he says something worth noting.
You’ll be able to jump into at least one zombie level just straight from the start.
This sentence from Mark Lamia also hints to the fact that there will be more than one zombie map included in the standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
What are your thoughts about it. Do you think that there will be more than one zombie map included with the standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops, or do you think only one zombie map will be included? Let us know what you think, we’d love to hear it.
