Black Ops Crew Joined By Top Hollywood Actors



Activision and Treyach have announced that award-winning actors Ed Harris and Gary Oldman have joined the cast of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, with David S. Goyer having come on board to provide script consultation and story development support.

Gary Oldman, who’s known for his work in The Professional, Dracula, Batman: The Dark Knight and most recently, The Book of Eli, will play the role as Viktor Reznov from Call of Duty: World at War.

Ed Harris, best known for his roles in films like Pollock, The Abyss, Apollo 13, A History of Violence  and The Right Stuff, will play one of the game’s main characters, CIA operative Jason Hudson.

Filmmaker David S. Goyer’s writing credits include theblockbusters Batman: Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Blade and the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel.

Treyarch boss Mark Lamia said:

Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.

As we all know, Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled for release on November 9.
