Black Ops 2 Zombies – Inactivity Could See You Deranked
While some of us gamers can’t put the controller down and cease playing what Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies has to offer, some people have other things that might conflict with their gaming obsession. With the Zombies mode having a quite confusing ranking system – which we recently tried to explain – gamers have less than no idea when they will change rank or go down rank.
According to Black Ops 2 Zombies Producer Reza Elghazi, not playing the game at all can see your rank going down the toilet. He made the announcement through his Twitter account after a fan asked him if their sudden deranking was a bug, but turns out it’s just the way the ranking works.
Some might see this as an unnecessary feature that has really no effect on others playing the game, essentially punishing you for maybe not having the time to get a session in. It’s not known how long exactly it takes before inactivity lowers your rank however, jury is still out on that.
